About us Casa León Restaurante is located in a unique oasis in the mountains of Gran Canaria.
Situated 500 metres above sea level, you can enjoy a dreamlike panoramic view while you eat our tasty dishes or try a refreshing drink on our terrace.
Our cuisine is known for its creativity and lightness, so our chef Holger Schmidt has created an innovative form of «»Vital Cuisine»» that focuses on aromatic and seasonal ingredients.

Chef
Native of Niedersachsen, Germany, he trained as a Master Chef in this country and
worked in different companies and for his own until 2005. In this year, he moved to the
north of Spain, where he got to know the delights of this rich cuisine. In 2011 he moved
to Casa León where he is the Head Chef surrounded by a team of professionals.
Holger Schmidt has been awarded several prizes and has a professional background
that distinguishes each of his dishes. No detail escapes him and he is ready to satisfy the
most demanding palates.
